Here we go again?

Well I'm entering that phase of blog writing that always happens to me. That is the phase where my attention turns to something different. I am now moving up to New York City for a couple months at least try to work a temp job and see New York City.  I like to travel and I love New York City so I will travel and work for a while. Will I forget my blog?
In the excitement of being in Manhattan again will I just forget to post to my blog or will I post more because I'm discovering new things in Manhattan after 25 long years of being away. I don't know but we'll see :-)

Mad Men Marathon

Have just been watching Mad Men on Netflix and find it quite interesting to see the contrast of our lives between the 60s and the present time. of course there's not many black people in it and I was trying to think of a show that would tell the subtext of Mad Men and I thought of the Corrina Corrina, where she tries to write copy but instead is relegated to being a maid that is one of my favorite Whoopi Goldberg movies.

my First 2 hours on my new Blogging job

Well I woke up around 1 AM this morning and I made up my mind that two hours every morning before getting into the day I would spend time on my new blogging job. now I got this inspiration from the Christian guy I wrote about in the previous comment. So this morning I checked my credit card to make sure I had enough money to make the hosting and domain purchases and I didn't so I made an extra payment. now it's a couple hours later I've done some reading and I've fulfilled my obligation.
It is now 3 AM and I must get back to bed . I don't want to get burned out on this blogging thing and then quit as I have five or six times before so Im going to devote myself to my regular life during the day. I've got to travel to New York City and start looking for a real job.

Money Help For Christians -MH4C he calls it

I like this guy this Christian guy who is making money blogging he's much more realistic about blogging because he actually works a full-time job while he's blogging. he talks about being patient and he tells that it's taken him to a years to achieve 50% of his full-time income blogging. he tells that he made nary a penny in his first six months. I like the fact that he chose subjects that anybody could see are lucrative but he added his own spin to them. Indeed I read early on in my investigation of blogging that travel, health, law, making money, and one more thing (i forget) are the five most lucrative areas for blogging.

I made my first comment!

I went to the search engine being and I put in make Money blogging for beginners the first site, was from a blogger who has a website called money help for Christian and the that comes up is about how he makes money blogging it took him 2 years to actually start making any money blogging. he started in 2010 and now he makes 50% of his full-time income blogging.
I like the fact that he works on a passion he has as a Christian.
What I like about this guy is that he is obviously blogging in a very lucrative niche but he has put his own personal stamp on it. I'm pretty sure budgeting, finances and making and saving money are very big and lucrative niches but he is doing it in the sense of being a Christian and you don't see a lot of that on the web.

Hiring help

I have surveyed the blogging for money landscape and from what I can see making money from a blog is probably becoming more and more difficult and more and more work. It appears that doing the backlinking and the commenting and publicizing a blog either takes a huge amount of work or huge amount of money and if you have a job obviously you have to have time to constantly comments on blogs.   the only solution I see, is to hire people from India or the Philippines to do that for you.
Finding a small noncompetitive micro niche and then exploiting it with a small website has probably been done over and over again and besides it's not as much fun as just putting your own self on a blog nobody can compete with that.
But the blog still has to be focused what is it going to be about what being entrepreneurial black girl of course! As a feminist I should not be calling myself a girl. Okay, entrepreneurial black woman, then.
